Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals Careers in the United Kingdom is seeking a reliable LCV Driver to support timely collection and deliveries from customer sites, while consistently meeting customer expectations. You will operate light commercial vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes and ensure safe loading, unloading and secure vehicle loads.

Candidates should hold a Category B driving licence (with no more than 6 points), demonstrate a proactive safety approach, and maintain a polite, professional manner on site.

Qualifications

• Valid UK driving licence Category B with no more than 6 points.
• Commitment to vehicle safety and compliance.
• Polite and professional manner when visiting customer premises.
• Numeracy and literacy skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Geographical knowledge and LCV experience.
• Ability to use IT systems (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Operate light commercial vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes for deliveries and collections.

About The Role

Are you ready to be a part of our rapidly developing business. We are looking for a talented LCV Driver to join our team to ensure timely collection and deliveries from customer sites whilst consistently meeting or exceeding customer expectations.

What will you be doing?

• Operating light commercial vehicles of up to 3.5 tonnes for transportation of goods
• Ensuring the vehicle is safe and roadworthy before commencing any journey, as well as the safe loading, unloading and security of the vehicle load
• Visiting customer locations, communicating with both internal and external customers
• Ensuring that the legal and company safety requirements, alongside the working time directive regulations are adhered to at all times
