Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a skilled HGV Driver Plant and MEWP Load/Unload to join our Birmingham team, ensuring timely collection and deliveries from customer sites while meeting expectations.

You will operate commercial vehicles, ensure roadworthiness and safe loading, unload rental equipment, visit customer locations, and comply with safety and working time regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum driving license category C+E with no more than 6 points.
• CPC certification is required.
• Tachograph card is required.
• Proactive approach to safety of company vehicles and other drivers.
• Polite manner when visiting customer premises.
• Good geographical knowledge (desirable).
• IT systems knowledge (desirable).
• FORS compliance (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial vehicles for the transportation of goods.
• Ensure vehicle safety, roadworthiness and load security.
• Load and unload rental equipment including heavy plant.
• Visit customer sites and communicate with customers.
• Adhere to safety regulations and the Working Time Directive.

About The Role

Are you ready to be a part of our rapidly developing business. We are looking for a talented HGV Driver Plant and MEWP Load/ Unload to join our team to ensure timely collection and deliveries from customer sites whilst consistently meeting or exceeding customer expectations.

What will you be doing?

• Operating commercial vehicles for the transportation of goods
• Ensuring the vehicle is safe and roadworthy before commencing any journey, as well as the safe loading, unloading and security of the vehicle load
• Load and unload rental, electrical and powered access equipment including heavy plant
• Visiting customer locations, communicating with both internal and external customers
• Ensuring that the legal and company safety requirements, alongside the working time directive regulations are adhered to at all time
