Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a skilled HGV Driver Lorry Loader to join our team in the United Kingdom. You will operate commercial vehicles, ensure roadworthiness, and safely load and unload equipment at customer sites while maintaining high service standards.

The role requires a C+E license with limited points, CPC certification, tachograph card, and Hiab license. You will visit customer sites and must comply with safety and legal regulations at all times.

Qualifications

• Minimum of driving license category C+E – with no more than 6 points.
• CPC Certified.
• Tachograph card.
• Hiab license.
• Proactive approach to safety of company vehicles and other drivers.
• A polite manner at all times when visiting customer premises.
• Good geographical knowledge and Industry experience (desirable).
• Ability to use IT systems (desirable).
• FORS compliant (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Operating commercial vehicles for the transportation of goods.
• Ensuring the vehicle is safe and roadworthy before commencing any journey, as well as the safe loading, unloading and security of the vehicle load.
• Load and unload equipment by operating the lorry loader.
• Visiting customer locations, communicating with both internal and external customers.
• Ensuring that the legal and company safety requirements, alongside the working time directive regulations are adhered to at all time.

About The Role
