Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a talented HGV Driver to join our Cardiff team. You will be responsible for timely collection and deliveries to customer sites, while consistently meeting customer expectations.

Key duties include operating commercial vehicles, ensuring roadworthiness, loading/unloading, and maintaining safety compliance with working time directives. Proactive safety focus and excellent customer interaction are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of driving license category C – with no more than 6 points.
• CPC Certification is required.
• Tachograph card held.
• Proactive approach to safety of company vehicles and other drivers.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial vehicles for the transportation of goods.
• Ensure vehicle is safe and roadworthy before journeys; assist with loading/unloading and securing loads.
• Visit customer locations and communicate with internal and external customers.
• Comply with legal and company safety requirements and working time regulations.

About The Role

What will you be doing?

• Operating commercial vehicles for the transportation of goods
• Ensuring the vehicle is safe and roadworthy before commencing any journey, as well as the safe loading, unloading and security of the vehicle load
• Visiting customer locations, communicating with both internal and external customers
• Ensuring that the legal and company safety requirements, alongside the working time directive regulations are adhered to at all time

What are we looking for?
