Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals in Wolverhampton is seeking a Van Driver Towing to ensure timely collection and deliveries from customer sites while maintaining high customer service standards.

You will operate light commercial vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes with towing attachments, check safety before journeys, and ensure proper loading and security of loads. Training is available for towing experience and you will follow safety and working time regulations.

Qualifications

• Valid UK driving licence category B with no more than 6 points.
• Experience driving light commercial vehicles (LCV).
• Towing experience is desirable but training is provided.
• Proactive approach to vehicle safety and driver safety.
• Polite, courteous interaction when visiting customer premises.
• Geographical knowledge is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Operate light commercial vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes with towing attachments for transportation of goods.
• Ensure vehicle safety and roadworthiness before journeys; load security and safe loading/unloading.
• Visit customer locations and communicate with internal and external customers.

About The Role

Are you ready to be a part of our rapidly developing business. We are looking for a talented Van Driver Towing to join our team to ensure timely collection and deliveries from customer sites whilst consistently meeting or exceeding customer expectations.

What will you be doing?

• Operating light commercial vehicles of up to 3.5 tonnes with towing attachments for transportation of goods
• Ensuring the vehicle is safe and roadworthy before commencing any journey, as well as the safe loading, unloading and security of the vehicle load
• Visiting customer locations, communicating with both internal and external customers
• Ensuring that the legal and company safety requirements, alongside the working time directive regulations are adhered to at all times
