Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals UK & Ireland is seeking a Van Driver with towing to join our team in Wolverhampton. You will ensure timely collection and deliveries, visiting customer sites and maintaining high service levels.

The role requires a B category license (max 6 points) and LCV experience, with towing experience desirable and training available. You will uphold safety standards and professional conduct when on customer premises.

Qualifications

• Minimum of driving license category B with no more than 6 points.
• LCV experience.
• Towing experience is desirable, however training is available.
• Proactive approach to safety of company vehicles and other drivers.
• A polite and courteous manner at all times when visiting customer premises.
• Geographical knowledge (desirable).
• Ability to use IT systems (desirable).

Responsibilities

Are you ready to be a part of our rapidly developing business. We are looking for a talented Van Driver Towing to join our team to ensure timely collection and deliveries from customer sites whilst consistently meeting or exceeding customer expectations.

What will you be doing?

• Operating light commercial vehicles of up to 3.5 tonnes with towing attachments for transportation of goods
• Ensuring the vehicle is safe and roadworthy before commencing any journey, as well as the safe loading, unloading and security of the vehicle load
• Visiting customer locations, communicating with both internal and external customers
• Ensuring that the legal and company safety requirements, alongside the working time directive regulations are adhered to at all times
