Purpose of Role:

The Utilities Account Manager will focus on ensuring the delivery of data collection, metering, and customer services in line with commercial contracts, fostering long-term relationships, and identifying opportunities for growth within existing accounts.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage a group of clients within a dedicated channel, conducting regular account reviews to assess performance and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Lead in contributing to the Third-Party Intermediary and End User account management strategy.
  • Contribute to the management of the business as part of the wider Commercial function.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with end users and key accounts.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for end users and partners in the region.
  • Represent IMServ at conferences, exhibitions, and corporate events to promote our products and services.
  • Monitor the quality of data collection, metering, and customer services, implementing quality assurance processes.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling within existing accounts.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement growth strategies.
  • Develop client-focused relationships with internal departments to improve processes and measure success.
  • Lead operational teams through resolving commercial issues operationally and contractually.
  • Assist with customer feedback into product and service development.
  • Participate in regional and account management meetings, conferences, and training sessions.
  • Mentor team members, especially new and existing Account Managers, in onboarding and development.
Person Specification
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Proven success in an account management role, preferably within the energy sector or a related industry.
  • Experience managing and growing key accounts.
  • Experience working within a SaaS organization.
  • Experience in a Private Equity owned business environment.
