Kirklees Council is seeking an Engineer to join the Urban Traffic Control team. You will develop and manage a portfolio of traffic signals, UTC systems, ITS, and communications infrastructure across Kirklees.

• Relevant engineering, technology or transport-related qualification or equivalent demonstrable industry experience.
• Experience of, or interest in, traffic signals, ITS, highways or related engineering disciplines.
• Strong technical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn, develop and apply new technical skills.
