Job summary

Arcadis in the UK is seeking a career-minded engineer to join the Places Design Practice in Newcastle. You will contribute to civil engineering design for urban development projects, including drainage, highways interfaces and utilities.

Working with cross-disciplinary teams, you will produce drawings, BIM models, reports and specifications, applying Arcadis safety principles to deliver sustainable solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience in civil engineering design for buildings/urban development projects.
• Proficiency with MicroDrainage/InfoDrainage, AutoCAD Civil 3D and BIM.
• Knowledge of SuDS, SfA, DMRB and Building Regulations.

Responsibilities

• Undertake civil engineering design for projects, ensuring sustainable development and safety principles.
• Collaborate with other design disciplines to ensure overall design integrity.
• Produce drawings, BIM models, reports and specifications for various project stages.
• Attend project meetings and review work for accuracy.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams across design, environmental and construction disciplines.
