Arcadis in London seeks a career-minded Civil Engineer to deliver urban development projects, focusing on surface water and drainage, highways interfaces and utilities. You will work within the Places Design Practice and collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams.

The role requires Chartered or Incorporated status, experience in buildings projects, and proficiency with MicroDrainage, AutoCAD Civil 3D and BIM integration.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering with chartered/incorporated status or near-chartered considered.
• Experience in civil engineering/urban development for buildings projects is essential.
• Proficiency in MicroDrainage/InfoDrainage, AutoCAD Civil 3D and BIM integration.
• Knowledge of SuDS, SfA, DMRB and Building Regulations.
• Ability to apply engineering theory and perform manual calculations when software is unavailable.

Responsibilities

• Undertake civil engineering design for projects, contributing to sustainable development.
• Collaborate with other design disciplines, producing drawings, BIM models, reports and specifications.
• Attend project meetings and review work for accuracy across the team.
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers, technicians and apprentices.
• Support delivery of Urban Development services within a global design framework.
