Responsibilities

We’re working with a UK higher education provider that is now seeking a University Registrar to lead its academic services. This is a senior leadership role with responsibility for the student journey from enrolment through to graduation, ensuring processes are compliant, student-focused, and strategically aligned.

As Registrar, you will:

  • Lead registry services covering admissions, timetabling, assessment, progression, and graduation
  • Oversee compliance with OfS, HESA, SLC, UKVI and other statutory/regulatory requirements
  • Manage academic governance processes and quality assurance frameworks
  • Drive service improvements to enhance the student experience
  • Lead and develop professional services teams across multiple campuses
  • Contribute at senior management level to broader institutional priorities
Qualifications

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven experience leading registry, MIS, or academic services in UK Higher Education
  • Strong understanding of compliance, statutory reporting, and academic governance
  • Expertise in student record systems and data reporting
  • Ability to build relationships and influence at senior level
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • A collaborative, resilient, and strategically minded leader
