A local authority in the UK is seeking an individual to join their Outdoor Education Service, delivering outdoor activities and education to children and young people. This part-time fixed-term position is based in Snowdonia and requires evening and weekend work. Applicants should have relevant outdoor education experience and the Right to Work in the UK.

The Outdoor Education Service, made up of experienced staff members, provides high‑quality outdoor and residential experiences within the beautiful Snowdonia National Park.

Based at Plas Dol y Moch in Eryri (Snowdonia), N. Wales, you will be a member of the Coventry Outdoors staff team delivering a range of Outdoor Education and Adventurous Activities, working with children, young people, schools, families and other key groups. Experienced in the provision of Outdoor Education, your duties include planning, preparing and delivering high‑quality programmes and sessions to the wide variety of groups that visit our centre each year. You will be expected to work both evening duties (with overnight on‑call) and weekends.
This is a 0.76 (28 hrs a week) Fixed Term, Term Time only position covering a maternity leave period between January and July 2026. The post holder will be deployed during the typical school term, plus the first 2 weeks of the Summer holidays. The salary will be pro‑rata, with additional increments for weekend working, and Stand‑by allowance for evening duties.
