Job Description:

Join the Audi F1 Project, competing in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship from 2026. Our team has three locations: Neuburg (Germany), Hinwil (Switzerland), and the UK. We develop high-performance engines and chassis, focusing on innovation and racing excellence. We seek individuals with an athlete's mindset, resilience, and passion for motorsport to be part of this historic project.

The position is based at Audi Formula Racing GmbH in Neuburg, Germany. Your role involves working on the combustion process and calibration of a high-performance powertrain, aiming to maximize engine performance and efficiency while ensuring reliability. Responsibilities include development measures during concept, design, commissioning, and testing phases.

Your Mission

• Develop combustion processes and gas-exchange via 3D-CFD simulations
• Conduct thermodynamic development of engine gas-exchange, combustion phases, and flow simulations of intake & exhaust systems
• Plan, perform, and evaluate 3D CFD simulations with proper reporting
• Correlate simulation data with measurement data from engine tests and testbenches
• Improve workflows and toolchains for simulation and data correlation

Your Profile

• Technical degree in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, fluid mechanics, or related fields
• Several years of experience in internal combustion engine development and 3D CFD simulation
• Knowledge of engine technology and virtual development tool chains
• Experience with testbench data handling
• Strong teamwork, organizational skills, and responsibility
• Independent, precise working style
• Proficiency in German or English, with willingness to learn the other language
