Job Overview

Join our team working on the Audi F1 Project, which will compete in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship from 2026. Our project spans multiple locations including Neuburg (Germany), Hinwil (Switzerland), and the UK, focusing on innovative motorsport technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop combustion processes and gas-exchange via 3D-CFD simulations
• Conduct thermodynamic development of engine gas-exchange, combustion phases, and flow simulations of intake & exhaust systems
• Plan, perform, and evaluate 3D CFD simulations with proper documentation
• Correlate simulation results with measurement data from engine tests and testbenches
• Improve workflows and toolchains for simulation and data correlation

Candidate Profile

• Degree in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, fluid mechanics, or related field (Bachelor's, Master's, Diplom, or Dr.-Ing.)
• Several years of experience in internal combustion engine development and 3D CFD simulation
• Strong knowledge of engine technology and virtual development tools
• Experience with data handling from engine testbenches
• Excellent teamwork, organizational skills, and responsibility
• Independent, precise working style
• Proficiency in German or English; willingness to learn the other language
