Your tasks include developing maximum performance and efficiency, focusing on combustion processes, turbocharging, and calibration, while ensuring reliability. You will be involved in concept and design, as well as commissioning and testing phases.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Development of combustion process and gas-exchange via 3D-CFD simulations
  • Thermodynamic development of the internal combustion engine, including flow simulation of intake & exhaust systems
  • Planning, performing, and evaluating 3D CFD simulations with proper reporting
  • Correlating simulation data with measurement data from engine tests and testbenches
  • Improving workflows and toolchains for simulation and data correlation
Your Profile:
  • Technical degree in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, fluid mechanics, or related fields
  • Several years of experience in internal combustion development and 3D CFD simulation
  • Broad knowledge of engine technology and virtual development tool chains
  • Experience with testbench data handling
  • Strong teamwork, organizational skills, and sense of responsibility
  • Independent and precise working style
  • Proficiency in German or English, with willingness to learn the other language
