Job Overview:

Join the Audi F1 Project, competing in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship from 2026. Our team operates across three locations: Neuburg (Germany), Hinwil (Switzerland), and the UK. The UK facility focuses on chassis development and race operations, with the power unit developed in Neuburg.

We are seeking a passionate Turbocharger Development Engineer specializing in CFD simulation to work on internal combustion engine development, focusing on combustion processes, turbocharging, and calibration to optimize engine performance and reliability.

Your Responsibilities:

• Develop combustion processes and gas-exchange via 3D-CFD simulations.
• Conduct thermodynamic development of engine gas-exchange, combustion phases, and flow simulations of intake and exhaust systems.
• Plan, perform, and evaluate 3D CFD simulations with comprehensive reports.
• Correlate simulation data with engine measurements and test bench data.
• Improve workflows and toolchains for simulation and testing processes.

Your Profile:

• Technical degree in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, fluid mechanics, or related fields (bachelor's, master's, Diplom, or Dr.-Ing.).
• Several years of experience in internal combustion engine development, especially 3D CFD simulation.
• Broad knowledge of engine technology and virtual development toolchains.
• Experience handling test bench data.
• Strong teamwork, organizational skills, and responsibility.
• Independent, precise working style.
• Proficiency in German or English; willingness to learn the other language.
