A healthcare practice in Doncaster is seeking a Treatment Room Nurse to oversee patient care, conduct home visits, and perform various nursing duties including wound care and vaccinations. The ideal candidate should possess a driving license and have good communication skills. Training can be provided for essential skills. This part-time role requires commitment and flexibility with weekly hours ranging from 16 to 20.
An exciting opportunity has come up for a Treatment Room Nurse to join the team at Regent Square Group Practice. Regent Square Group Practice covers a large area of Doncaster with approximately 10,500 patients. Our clinical team consists of 7 GPs, 1 Advanced Nurse Practitioner, 3 Practice Nurses and 3 Healthcare Assistants.
We have a triage service daily that signposts on the day requirements and otherwise operate with routine appointments.
This post is for 16 to 20 hours and will involve working every Wednesday and Thursday, along with another half day depending on hours.
We are looking for a nurse to oversee the patients on the Proactive Care list and help with duties within the practice nursing team. These may include: wound reviews, smears, baby clinic, travel health, intramuscular injections and minor illness.
All injections/vaccinations would be given under a Patient Group Directive/Patient Specific Directive.
This role will include doing the home visits to ensure the patients on the Proactive care list are reviewed as required and any housebound patients are regularly reviewed as required.
We are an extremely busy but friendly practice serving over 10,000 patients in Doncaster City Centre .
