Job summary

Riverside is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to assist customers at our funded services across housing-related support, budgeting, benefits and move-on planning. You will work with employability coaches and other agencies to empower customers to regain independence.

You will keep accurate records, collaborate with teams, and help customers build confidence on their journey toward stable housing and wellbeing.

Qualifications

Experience of working with vulnerable people.
Experience of delivering structured support and risk management.
Be a team player with a caring, empathetic, resilient and can-do attitude.
May have lived experience of homelessness or substance issues.
Ability to work flexible hours including lone working.

Responsibilities

Provide support to customers across housing, budgeting, benefits and move-on planning.
Lead on Co-producing bespoke support and move-on plans with stakeholders.
Conduct regular reviews of support and risk plans and monitor progress toward outcomes.
Assist customers with day-to-day tenancy-related matters and financial independence.
Signpost to external services and maintain clear, accurate case notes on digital systems.
Ensure safety and wellbeing by following safeguarding procedures and reporting concerns.
Deliver group work and other initiatives to enhance customer outcomes.
Travel to different properties and work flexible hours as required.
