Job summary

Riverside is a housing association dedicated to improving lives by providing homes and support services across the UK. The Support Worker will help customers reconnect with employability coaches, manage finances, and access benefits, while working towards independent living.

You will maintain records, collaborate with teams, and demonstrate resilience and empathy in challenging situations to support customers on their journey.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with vulnerable people.
• Experience delivering structured support and risk management.
• Team player with a caring, empathetic nature and resilience.
• Understanding of supporting vulnerable people, including potential lived experience.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and lone working.

Responsibilities

• Connect customers with employability coaches and other support agencies.
• Help customers manage money and sign up for benefits.
• Assist moving on to a more permanent home.
• Keep records and complete admin tasks.
