Job summary

Riverside Group is seeking a Support Worker in Arlington, London, for a permanent role at 37.5 hours per week on a rota across 7 days. You will support customers to rebuild their lives, manage money, access benefits, and move towards independent housing while maintaining detailed records.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with vulnerable people.
• Experience delivering structured support and risk management.
• Team player with a caring, empathetic, resilient attitude.
• Lived experience of homelessness or drug/alcohol addiction is a plus.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including lone working.

Responsibilities

• Leading on co-producing bespoke support and move-on plans with stakeholders.
• Organising regular reviews of support and risk plans.
• Engaging customers to meet outcomes and develop life skills.
• Assisting with day-to-day support and tenancy matters.
• Identifying opportunities for employment, education and training.
• Signposting to external support services including food banks.
• Supporting customers to be tenancy-ready and financially independent.
• Monitoring healthcare needs and liaising with professionals.
• Helping customers move towards self-management of medication.
• Leading group work initiatives and safeguarding procedures.
• Recording accurate customer information on the system.
