Job summary

Riverside is seeking a dedicated Support Worker for our Liverpool base to support customers in accessing services, managing finances and progressing to permanent housing. You will link customers to employability coaches, complete documentation, and promote independence while upholding safeguarding and tenancy standards.

The role demands resilience, empathy, and teamwork, with flexible hours including potential lone working.

Qualifications

Experience of working with vulnerable people.
Experience of delivering structured support and risk management.
Team player with a caring and empathetic nature and a resilient, can-do attitude.
Understanding of supporting vulnerable people, possibly with lived experience of homelessness or addiction.
Ability to work flexible hours, including lone working.

Responsibilities

Connect customers with employability coaches and other support services.
Assist customers with budgeting, benefits and moving on to permanent housing.
Maintain records and complete admin tasks; record information on the appropriate system.
Support customers to be tenancy ready and financially independent.
Work as part of a team, ensure safeguarding and incident escalation when needed.
Develop local partnerships to provide holistic support and deliver day-to-day operations.
