Job summary

SENse Learning in the UK is seeking SEND Tutors to deliver one-to-one, trauma-informed tutoring in clients’ homes, online, or in community settings. You will tailor sessions to individual EHCPs and work flexibly with families, schools, or authorities.

Applicants must have QTS/QTLS, 2+ years post-NQT experience with SEND/SEMH, enhanced DBS, and be self-employed. Roles are flexible, with part-time to full-time hours and rolling interviews.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of post-NQT teaching experience with SEND/SEMH/MLD/SLD/PMLD.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLs.
• Enhanced DBS check and two professional references.
• UK-based with right to work.
• Safeguarding knowledge and creating a safe learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop strong relationships with children and young people with SEND/SEMH needs.
• Provide in-person, online/remote, and hybrid tutoring tailored to EHCP and risk assessments.
• Plan lessons and report progress with regular feedback to carers or schools.
