Job summary

Targeted Provision is recruiting SEND Tutors and Teachers in the UK to support pupils with SEND and SEMH needs, across in-person, hybrid, and remote formats. Roles focus on Maths, English or Science and reward a trauma-informed, flexible teaching journey.

Candidates should have 2+ years teaching experience, QTS/QTLS, Enhanced DBS, and the ability to work with disengaged and vulnerable learners.

Qualifications

• 2+ years teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD in a holistic and trauma-informed way
• Familiarity teaching English, Maths, and/or Science
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS)
• Enhanced DBS and 2+ professional references
• UK-based with right to work in the UK
• Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment

Responsibilities

• Provide in person, online / remote, and hybrid Maths, English, or Science tuition to children, teenagers, and young people with SEMH and SEND needs
• Plan and deliver flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring
• Plan and report for lessons and provide regular feedback on student progress
• Contribute to raising the standard of education for SEND and SEMH learners
