Job summary

Targeted Provision is hiring SEND Tutors and Teachers in the UK to work with schools and local authorities. Roles cover Maths, English or Science for learners with SEND/SEMH needs, including KS1–KS5.

Candidates should have QTS/QTLS, 2+ years of teaching experience, and be prepared for trauma-informed, student-centred delivery. The role offers in-person, hybrid, and remote opportunities with flexible hours and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years teaching experience
• Experience with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, PMLD
• Experience teaching English, Maths or Science
• Enhanced DBS verification and 2+ references
• UK residency and right to work
• Safeguarding knowledge and creating safe learning environments

Responsibilities

• Provide in person, online or hybrid tutoring for Maths, English or Science to children, teens and young people with SEND/SEMH needs
• Plan and deliver trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring
• Prepare lessons and provide progress feedback to pupils
• Support KS1–KS5 learners as appropriate and coordinate with local authorities/schools
