Job summary
Targeted Provision is seeking experienced SEND Tutors and Teachers to work with Schools and Local Authorities across the UK. The role offers self‑employed, flexible in‑person, hybrid and remote teaching opportunities for Maths, English or Science to support SEMH and SEND needs.
You will have 2+ years of teaching, QTS/QTLS, Enhanced DBS, and right to work in the UK. Responsibilities include planning, delivering and reporting on lessons from KS1 to KS5 in a trauma‑informed approach to help
Qualifications
- 2+ years of teaching experience with SEND/SEMH/MLD/SLD/PMLD in a trauma-informed approach
- Familiarity teaching Maths, English, and Science
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS)
- Enhanced DBS and 2+ professional references
- UK-based with right to work (including remote work)
Responsibilities
- Provide in-person, online/remote, and hybrid Maths, English, or Science tuition to learners with SEMH and SEND needs
- Plan and deliver lessons and provide regular progress feedback
- Support pupils from KS1 to KS5 with flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring
- Contribute to raising standards for SEND and SEMH learners
