Job summary

Targeted Provision seeks SEND Tutors and Teachers to transform the lives of disengaged and vulnerable learners across the UK. Roles include Core Subject tuition (Maths, English or Science) in person, online or hybrid, using trauma-informed approaches to support SEMH and SEND needs.

You should have 2+ years teaching experience, QTS/QTLS, Enhanced DBS and 2+ referees. Competitive pay (£28–£35/hr) with flexible hours, CPD and mentoring support.

Qualifications

• 2+ years teaching experience, ideally with SEND/SEMH/MLD/SLD/SLD in trauma-informed approach
• Subjects: English, Maths, Science teaching familiarity
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS)
• Enhanced DBS and 2+ professional references
• UK residency and right to work required
• Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person, online/remote, and hybrid tuition in Maths, English or Science to children and young people with SEND/SEMH needs
• Support pupils referred by local authorities and schools with flexible, trauma-informed tutoring
• Plan and report lessons; provide regular progress feedback
• Contribute to raising the standard of education for SEND and SEMH learners
