Job summary

Targeted Provision is recruiting SEND Tutors and Teachers in the UK to deliver Maths, English or Science tuition for youths with SEMH and SEND needs. Roles include in-person, online and hybrid teaching with flexible hours to suit your schedule.

Applicants should have 2+ years of teaching experience, QTS or QTLS, and an enhanced DBS check. This self-employed opportunity emphasises safeguarding, a trauma-informed approach and a small, child-centred mission.

Qualifications

• 2+ years teaching experience, ideally with SEND/SEMH/MLD/SLD/PMDL needs.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS is required.
• Enhanced DBS check and 2+ professional references.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person, online or hybrid tuition for Maths, English or Science to children and young people with SEND/SEMH needs.
• Plan lessons, deliver trauma-informed tutoring, and monitor progress.
• Report on student progress and adapt lessons to KS1–KS5 as appropriate.
• Support safeguarding and maintain a safe learning environment.
