Job summary

Targeted Provision is seeking SEND Tutors and Teachers to transform the lives of disengaged and vulnerable learners across the UK. We offer in-person, hybrid, and remote teaching opportunities for Maths, English, or Science, with a trauma-informed approach to support SEMH and SEND needs.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of teaching experience, QTS or QTLS, and an Enhanced DBS with references. Flexible hours and a role designed for real impact on children's lives.

Qualifications

• 2+ years teaching experience, ideally with SEND/SEMH/MLD/SLD/PLMD in a trauma-informed setting.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS.
• Enhanced DBS and 2+ professional references.
• UK-based with right to work in the UK, including for remote work.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide in person, online / remote, and hybrid Maths, English, or Science tuition to learners with SEMH and SEND needs.
• Plan and report lessons and provide regular progress updates.
• Support pupils KS1–KS5 as appropriate for your skills, with flexible tutoring and mentoring.
• We are on a mission to raise the standard of education for young people with SEND and SEMH needs.
