Job summary

SENse Learning in the United Kingdom is seeking SEND Tutors to provide bespoke, one-to-one education for children and young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and other needs. Roles include in-person, hybrid, and remote tutoring across KS1–KS5, with flexible hours and a student-centered approach.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching with SEND/SEMH/MLD/SLD/PMLD in a trauma-informed way.
• QTS/QTLS and Enhanced DBS compliance are required.
• Ability to adapt curriculum for individual learners and home-based settings.

Responsibilities

• Develop strong relationships with children and young people with diverse needs.
• Provide in-person, online/remote, and hybrid tutoring and mentoring.
• Plan lessons, track progress, and report on student outcomes.
• Collaborate with families, schools, and local authorities to tailor support.
