Transport Planner (2–5 Years’ Experience) Location: London

We are seeking a talented Transport Planner with 2–5 years of experience to join our growing team in London. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects across the UK, delivering innovative transport solutions for both public and private sector clients.

About the Role

You will be involved in:

  • Preparing transport assessments, travel plans, and feasibility studies for development and infrastructure projects.
  • Undertaking junction modelling and traffic analysis using industry-standard software.
  • Supporting the design and delivery of sustainable transport strategies, including active travel and public transport improvements.
  • Liaising with clients, local authorities, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
What We’re Looking For
  • Degree in Transport Planning, Civil Engineering, Geography, or related discipline.
  • 2–5 years’ experience in transport planning within a consultancy environment.
  • Proficiency in junction modelling software (e.g., Junctions 10, LinSig) and data analysis tools.
  • Strong understanding of UK planning process, transport policy, and design standards.
  • Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
Desirable
  • Experience with micro-simulation software (e.g., VISSIM).
  • Knowledge of active travel design principles and sustainable transport initiatives.
