Qualifications

• Previous experience in transport, logistics, or distribution is beneficial.
• Strong knowledge of UK geography and route planning.
• Familiarity with logistics or supply chain operations.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Confident using IT systems for planning and administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

• Organise and plan collections and deliveries, optimising vehicle and driver schedules to meet operational targets.
• Schedule vehicles for maintenance and ensure compliance with company service standards.
• Monitor drivers' progress to ensure timely completion of collections and deliveries.
• Support drivers in resolving on‑road issues and liaise with customers when necessary.
• Maintain compliance with all transport legislation and Working Time Directive regulations.
• Assist with administrative tasks including order entry, data management, and reporting.
