Asda Primary Logistics is a commercial and service function that is part of Asda Logistics Services Primary operations plan, execute and manage over 3000 loads of supplier stock into our Asda Depots per week. We carry 70% of fresh and 40% of ambient food stock into our sites for onward delivery to our stores. Our aim is to be the default option for all Asda suppliers by offering first class service and lowest cost whilst generating revenue for ALS. The operations team are based in Rochdale and have a dedicated office with first class facilities. We believe in an open culture where respect and engagement are embedded into our ways of working.
To ensure we balance moments where we know we need to collaborate together and the need for flexibility, Asda has a hybrid way of working with a minimum 3 days a week in one of our Home Offices. Over and above this, each area of Asda may have additional requirements which may require spending more days in the office, visiting suppliers, stores or depots.
