Job Title: Transport Manager – Location: Worcester – Contract Type: Permanent – Working Pattern: Full Time, Monday to Friday

Are you a dynamic and experienced Transport Manager looking for your next challenge in the logistics and distribution industry? If so, our client is eager to welcome you to their fantastic team! With a focus on excellence and efficiency, they are seeking someone with a flexible approach, strong analytical abilities, and exceptional compliance skills to oversee their busy transport operations.

What You'll Do:
  • Fleet Management: Oversee and maintain the vehicle fleet, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and conducting regular audits of maintenance schedules.
  • Safety and Compliance: Support accident investigations and uphold health and safety standards throughout the transport operations.
  • Point of Contact: Act as the primary liaison for motor insurance and manage daily defect reports during holiday cover.
  • Fuel Management: Order fuel and ensure all vehicles are properly licensed, registered, and insured.
  • Scheduling: Efficiently manage vehicle scheduling for maintenance and repairs to minimise downtime.
  • Reporting: Document incidents and accidents, and perform any other duties as required to support the team's success.
What You Bring:
  • A Full UK Driving Licence and a Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) in Road Haulage – International.
  • A detailed understanding of relevant transport and health & safety legislation.
  • Proficiency in IT, particularly with Microsoft Office.
  • Previous experience in Transport Management.
