Job description

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK, employing around 40,000 staff across a wide range of clinical and non‑clinical professions and job roles. Positions Available

• 2X Posts Available
  • 1x full‑time nightshift – 37 hours per week, Shift Pattern: Monday to Thursday 20:00-06:00
  • 1x full‑time day shift – 37 hours per week, Shift Pattern: 5 days over 7, any shift between 6am‑8pm

Role & Responsibilities

Role is to deliver and uplift Theatre Instruments to hospital sites and other healthcare facilities throughout the NHSGGC area, and to assist with other transport requirements throughout the NHSGGC area. Shifts are generally 7.5 hour days but drivers may be asked to stay later to cover runs due to annual leave or sickness.

• Driver must hold a valid licence to drive 7.5t vehicles, Category C, CPC and Tachograph compliant.
