Are you an organised and detail-driven professional looking for your next challenge?

We are seeking a Transport Administrator to join our Milton Keynes team and play a vital role in keeping our transport operations running efficiently and on schedule.

Please note: The site is scheduled to relocate to Northampton in July 2026.

This is a full-time, permanent position, working Monday to Friday on a rotating shift pattern:

Week 1: 06:00 – 14:00

Week 2: 10:00 – 18:00

Week 3: 14:00 – 22:00

Flexibility will be required to support operational needs.

What you will do on a typical day:
  • Monitor delivery performance against KPIs and proactively resolve issues impacting timely completion
  • Complete all operational activities, including manifests, in-house track and trace updates and driver debriefs
  • Arrange additional work using subcontractors, ensuring cost efficiency
  • Maintain and update vehicle compliance information using our internal systems
  • Communicate daily plans and priorities to office teams and drivers, ensuring collections and deliveries meet performance targets
  • Manage compliance activities for the client, booking events within SLA timeframes with accuracy and attention to detail
What you need to succeed at GXO:
  • The ability to communicate clearly and confidently with drivers, colleagues and external partners
  • Strong organisational skills, with a proactive approach and the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment
  • A positive, team-focused attitude, with the ability to build strong working relationships
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience within transport or logistics is beneficial but not essential — full training will be provided
