A regional healthcare provider in Dorchester is seeking a Transplant Nursing Associate to assist registered nurses in delivering high-quality patient-centered care. This role enables the successful candidate to help ensure education and timely referrals for transplant. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of one year of experience in renal with haemodialysis skills and hold an NVQ level 3 qualification. Salary ranges from £27,485 to £30,162 per annum pro rata.

A strategic objective of the Renal Operational Delivery Networks (ODN) is to increase to 40% of the Living Kidney Donors (LKD) to be pre‑emptive, a positive step in preventing the need for individuals to commence renal replacement therapy.
The role of the Band 4 will be new to the team assisting the registered nurses in providing high quality patient‑centred care. This role will be vital in helping to ensure that all patients receive education & timely referral for transplant.
Renal knowledge & experience is desirable but not essential for the successful candidate as they will undertake a range of skilled procedures relevant to the clinical sphere after receiving relevant training and competency assessments have been completed.
