A newly created and exclusive Transactions Director role based in Central London, seeking an experienced M&A or Corporate Development professional.

About Our Client

This role is with a rapidly growing client in the energy adjacent sector, who is looking to continue to strengthen their senior leadership team with the addition of this role.

Job Description
  • Oversee end-to-end processes for financial transactions from origination, due diligence to execution.
  • Scope out opportunities to continue to build deal pipeline, and help achieve the company's growth goals.
  • Work with the Treasurer to help structure and finance the transactions.
  • Manage and mentor a team of 3 professionals who build and own financial models.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial goals with organisational strategies including legal, business development and finance.
  • Monitor financial governance and compliance, and develop strategies to mitigate them effectively.
  • Lead the preparation and execution of complex financial transactions in international territories.
The Successful Applicant

Candidates with backgrounds in structured finance, asset finance, corporate banking, or capital-intensive sectors (e.g. aviation, infrastructure, energy) are likely to find the role highly aligned with their expertise - prior exposure to smart metering is highly desirable, but not compulsory.
