Job description

Ecowize is seeking an experienced and highly competent Training Coordinator to ensure the successful execution of the Training strategy by coordinating training interventions in a fast paced environment and making sure the specific delegates attend specified training within the deadlines required.

The Training Coordinator will be responsible for communicating with managers, internal and external stakeholders to arrange and manage the planning and implementation of all training interventions which includes but is not limited to learnerships and statutory training. As part of the digital learning strategy the Training Coordinator will also play an active role in ensuring all users are enrolled on the learner management system and the user database is kept up to date.

High-level Job Objectives
  • Learnership coordination with required training records and systems kept up to date within required timelines.
  • Learning support for learnership candidates.
  • Pro‑actively ensuring attendance and that users complete all required training documentation within required timelines.
Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinating and driving the application and onboarding process of learnership candidates.
  • Coordinate monthly training sessions and remediation sessions where required.
  • Coordinate and track monthly POE submissions.
  • Support learners with portfolio of evidence completion.
  • Support learners with practical activity submission.
  • Act as signatory on learner POE’s for learners who do not have the support of a line manager.
Evaluate The Success Of Learnership Interventions
  • Learnership bookings to be made upfront for the year.
  • Reminders to be sent out on time.
  • Presenting relevant data for accurate reporting on learners (attendance, evaluation sheets).
  • Sit in on and report on learnership classes – facilitation style, learner engagement, review content and feedback to L&D manager and service providers about improving content quality and alignment with Ecowize as a business.
  • Gather feedback from facilitators on training sessions.
