South Devon College is looking for a Trainer Facilitator – Early Years Assessor to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire learners and support their development in childcare and early years education.
In this role, you will assess and facilitate learning for students across Level 1–3 Early Years Educator and Childcare courses. You’ll support learners in workplace settings, ensuring they have access to high‑quality work‑based learning opportunities. You will contribute to curriculum development, monitor learner progress, and maintain strong relationships with students, employers, and colleagues. Your work will help ensure compliance with awarding body standards and promote safeguarding, equality, and inclusion at all times.
The successful candidate will hold a degree in social science, counselling, social care, childcare, education or related discipline, with relevant vocational experience/qualification in early years and/or supporting teaching and learning. You should have strong organisational and communication skills, with a student‑centred approach.
