Job summary

A leading automotive company in Watford is seeking candidates for their Trainee Program. You will receive high-quality training in automotive glazing, leading to NVQ Level 2 and 3 qualifications. After 10 weeks of classroom and practical training, you will be responsible for repairing and replacing windscreens and providing exceptional customer service. The role also includes ongoing support and training on Advanced Driver Assistance Systems.

Qualifications

• Participation in a Trainee Program with high standard quality training.
• Ability to work independently after 10 weeks of training.
• Knowledge on maintaining a safe working environment and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Repair and replace windscreens and body glass.
• Ensure ongoing support and up-to-date techniques.
• Calibrate Advanced Driver Assistance Systems.

Job description

You will be a part of our Trainee Program which means:

• You will receive high standard quality training delivered by experienced and qualified trainers and technicians.
• We will work with you to achieve a nationally recognised qualification in Automotive Glazing to NVQ level 2 and 3.
• After 10 weeks of training including classroom based learning and real experience with other qualified Technicians, you will be able to work independently.
• You will receive on-going support and assistance ensuring you remain up to date with techniques and processes.
• If selected you will also receive training on Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) calibration, hybrid and electric vehicles.
• You will be responsible for maintaining a safe working environment for yourself, your colleagues and your customers.

Once trained your job will be to repair and replace windscreens and body glass, and to provide our customers with excellent service.
