Job Overview

We are looking for a reliable and motivated Trainee Tail Lift Engineer to join our team in Leicester. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with mechanical knowledge who is looking to build a long-term career in the tail lift and commercial vehicle industry. Full training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the servicing, maintenance, and repair of tail lifts on commercial vehicles
  • Support experienced engineers during inspections and breakdowns
  • Learn to diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults
  • Carry out safety checks and ensure equipment meets required standards
  • Complete basic paperwork and job reports
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean working environment
  • Travel to customer sites as required
Requirements
