Overview

Job Title: Manager in Training / Interim Manager
Location: Frome, Somerset
Salary: Dependant on qualifications and experience
Working Hour: Full-time, shift-based including weekends, bank holidays and sleep-ins
Hourly Rate: Dependant on experience
Number of Sleeps Required: As per rota
Pay Per Sleep: £55 per sleep
Service: Children’s Home
Service Users: YPs with EBD and Trauma

Qualifications Required: Level 3 or 4 in Children & Young People or Residential Childcare (or equivalent). Must be willing to work towards Level 5 in Leadership and Management.

Experience in Years Required: Minimum 12 months in a Children’s Residential setting

Essential Requirements:
  • Level 3 or 4 in Residential Childcare / CYP
  • Willing to work towards Level 5 in Leadership & Management
  • Minimum 12 months in a Children’s Residential Home
  • Knowledge of Children’s Home Regulations, Quality Standards & Safeguarding
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Ability to work shifts including sleep-ins
Desirable:
  • Level 5 in Leadership & Management
  • Relevant degree (e.g. Social Work, Psychology)
  • Previous experience managing or supervising teams
  • Sports/activity qualification

You only hold a Level 3 in Health & Social Care (this is not deemed equivalent)
Your experience is solely within HealthCare, NHS, CQC, or Nursery settings

Please note: Individuals with only CQC experience and who have not worked in an Ofsted Registered Children's Home will not be considered.
