Trainee Recruitment Consultant
- Fast-paced sales role in the tech space. US markets = higher salaries = more commission.
- Our client wants to build out their desk with 5 fresh graduates who are both charismatic and extremely hard working.
- Their top biller is securing fees as large as 500k, meaning there’s massive earning potential in this buoyant sector
- Offices in London, New York and Frankfurt – global presence proving their success
- Specialist firm – you will be one of the most entrusted recruiters in your space as you will have expert knowledge on the market and give your clients inside intel
The Benefits of the Role
- £27.5k base with an increase to £32k once promoted to consultant
- Promotion is target based – 3 placements and promotion! (Usually within 4-6 months)
- 40% commission structure with no threshold to maximize your earning potential
- One to one training by the top biller – classroom lessons on the market trends as well as hands on advice while cold calling
- OTE Year 1 – £40k+; Year 2 – £60k+; Year 3 – £90k+

The Job Role
- Business development by sourcing your own clients to work with
- Win them over by showing your specialist knowledge on the market and give them inside info on their competitors – this will gain their trust and builds a stronger relationship
- Understand the job spec and what kind of employee they are looking for
- Source that employee (candidate) via cold calling, networking and advertising
- Organising interviews and giving advice to the candidates when they are answering questions so that they impress the client
- Negotiating the contract and the fee you will get
- Make a successful placement and earn your commission
The Ideal Candidate
- Degree educated with a 2:1 or above from a top university
- Sales experience – B2B, cold calling, door to door sales
- Charismatic
- People skills
- Confident
- Financially driven
- Wants to work towards targets
- Competitive
