Job description
Overview

This entry‑level Project Management training package is designed for candidates with no prior PM experience and offers a fast‑tracked route into the sector.

Step 1 – APM Qualification

APM (Association for Project Management) Qualification – 20 hours of study, a 1‑hour multiple choice exam and a 1‑hour online revision workshop. The course is provided online and comes complete with exam simulators and revision tools.

Step 2 – PRINCE2 Foundation

PRINCE2 Foundation – 15‑20 hours of study, a 1‑hour multiple choice exam and a 1‑hour online revision workshop. PRINCE2 is the most recognised methodology used by Project Managers worldwide and therefore an essential qualification for anybody looking to work in Project Management. It is a process‑driven methodology and often referred to as a waterfall methodology.

Step 3 – Project Management Simulation

Project Management Simulation – a simulated project assignment that shadows a project manager. Once completed, a tutor grades your work and issues a certificate of completion.

Step 4 – Recruitment Support

Recruitment Support – the recruitment support team will work through job applications, interviews and provide a full CV review based around your new qualification. They will provide guidance as to which roles are most suitable for you as an entry‑level project sector worker aiming to become a project manager and will include mock job interviews and any help you feel you need.

Finance Terms & Timeline

The training element of the package is available on finance terms of up to 1 year. An initial deposit of around £180 is required to start the training, and many candidates are placed in their first role before completing the 12 months finance.
