A specialist manufacturing company is seeking a dedicated Trainee Production Operative in Brighton. You will assist in the manufacturing and finishing of bespoke abrasive products, operating machinery safely while ensuring quality control. Location: Gt Wenham, CO7 6QD

Salary: Competitive, based on experience

Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week (Monday – Thursday, early finish at 2pm on Fridays)

Holiday: 28 days per year (including bank holidays)

Transport: Own transport required due to location

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the manufacturing, cutting, shaping, and finishing of bespoke abrasive products
  • Operate machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently (full training provided)
  • Conduct quality control inspections to ensure products meet exact specifications
  • Accurately follow production instructions
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Work as part of a small, flexible team to meet production deadlines
  • Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment
