Job Title : Trainee Mobile Fitter

Location : Mobile covering Kent, Ongar, West London, Swanley, Surrey

Salary : Competitive hourly rate

Job type : Full Time, Permanent

Working Hours : Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs, Fri, Sat - 50 hours per week

Envar is a producer and supplier of high quality soil improver, woodland garden mulch, wood chip and biomass. We operate green waste composting sites across England with sites in Surrey, Northamptonshire, West London, Essex, Kent and Suffolk as well as our flagship site in Cambridgeshire where we also process food waste. In addition to composting Envar also recycle coffee grounds.

About the role

Envar Composting are looking for a Trainee Mobile Fitter to persistently maintain high standards of workmanship and competence in performing tasks associated with preventative maintenance checks and general maintenance whilst maintaining high standards of internal and external communications and relationships.

The individual will have the opportunity to learn to install, maintain and repair heavy machinery such as shredders, trommels, loading shovels, telehandlers, excavators and tractors, while handling lighter equipment such as pumps and generators.
