Trainee Commercial Account Executive - West Yorkshire

Fantastic opportunity to join a quality independent chartered commercial insurance brokerage in a Trainee Account Executive role. This brand new opening has been created due to growth; this is a brilliant time to join the business, and to work with a great team of people.

This business is conveniently located on the outskirts of Leeds, close to major bus and road connections; they have plenty of free car parking and work from a really smart and modern office. Currently they are working on a 3 days in, 2 days from home basis.

In this role you will be inheriting a number of clients from a retiring Account Executive as well as being passed brand-new clients (acquired by the new business team) to add to your portfolio. All of these will be commercial clients with premiums spends from £10k per annum, potentially up into the £100k’s. The vast majority of clients will be situated in around the Yorkshire area, maybe just the odd one a little further afield.

This role would be perfect for an experienced commercial account handler or broker, ready to make the step up into being a client facing account executive. Ideal applicants will have a good all-round knowledge of most classes of commercial insurance, currently pursuing CII studies and great communication skills. Previous use of Acturis would also be beneficial.

This roles comes with an excellent basic salary (up to £45k) + car allowance, bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
