Traffic Marshall Required for Ongoing Work in Bridgwater - Immediate Start Available


Pay Rate: £16.34 - £17.00 per hour
Location: Bridgwater, Devon
Job Type: Full-Time


We are seeking a Traffic Marshall to join our team for ongoing projects in Bridgwater. If you're experienced in managing traffic on construction sites and have a focus on safety and efficiency, we want to hear from you. Immediate start available for the right candidate!


The Role

As a Traffic Marshall, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient movement of vehicles and pedestrians on and around construction sites. Your duties will include:



  • Directing traffic and pedestrians safely on site

  • Ensuring that vehicles and equipment can move safely and without delay

  • Communicating with site supervisors and operatives to coordinate traffic flow

  • Monitoring vehicle access and preventing unauthorized entry to construction zones

  • Maintaining a clear line of sight and alerting drivers to any hazards

  • Managing and controlling traffic management equipment (e.g., cones, barriers, signs)

  • Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times


Requirements


  • Traffic Marshall Card (essential)

  • PPE: safety boots, hi-vis vest, hard hat

  • Reliable and punctual, with excellent communication skills

  • Ability to follow instructions and work well under pressure
  • Previous experience in traffic management on construction sites (preferred)

  • Ability to work independently and be proactive in ensuring safety and traffic flow
