Working within the FNZ Markets Support & Dealing team you will primarily be working in the FNZ Markets Support Dept; learning about the trading life cycle and the down stream output from order management.

You may come from an investment background with previous experience in a similar role; however these are also excellent opportunities if you are looking for your first step into investment management and potentially trading.

Responsibilities
  • Effective communication; Investigate manage and resolve any issues raised by clients relating to the placement of orders
  • Best execution monitoring; Work with the Trade Surveillance Team to identify suspicious activity and best execution failures compensate clients for best ex discrepancies
  • Monitor MiFID II transaction reporting; monitor automated file uploads in third party system on a daily basis
  • Transaction Reporting Exception management; identify and correct TR errors and exceptions and investigate late reporting instances
  • Transaction Reporting Reconciliation; carry out monthly reconciliation tasks to identify any missed reporting and to make sure 100% of submitted reports were sent to the FCA
  • Other tasks; to undertake any other projects / tasks as may reasonably be required to facilitate the smooth operation of the company
  • Provide assistance to dealers with client instructions and trade requests
Requirements
  • A strong interest in financial markets
  • A desire to learn pass regulatory exams and have a hunger to progress.
  • Experience in using Excel for data analysis
  • The ability to work accurately and to deadlines
  • Strong analytical interpersonal and communication skills
  • The ability to work independently within a team
  • The ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable working in an office environment with working hours reflecting stock market opening
  • Understanding / knowledge of FCA regulations is an advantage
