Howdens Joinery is the UK’s No.1 Trade Kitchen Supplier, seeking a Business Developer to grow local depot client base. You’ll connect with trade customers face-to-face and on the phone, nurture relationships, and identify opportunities to increase spend.

You’ll generate leads, book appointments, and drive pipeline movement with Kitchen Sales Designers and Territory Sales Representatives. If you’re confident on the phone, enjoy rapport-building, and are motivated by targets, you’ll fit right in.

Qualifikationen

• Confident communicator comfortable on phone and face to face.
• Enjoys building relationships and turning conversations into opportunities.
• Commercially minded with a focus on driving sales and adding value.
• Self-motivated, positive and proactive.
• Organised and reliable, able to manage customer activity and pipelines.
• Comfortable working to call targets and activity levels.
• Experience in telesales, account management or a customer‑focussed role is helpful.

Aufgaben

• Calling existing trade customers to build long term relationships.
• Using customer data to spot inactivity and bring accounts back on track.
• Managing a targeted customer list and achieving daily call activity levels.
• Keeping up to date with customer projects to identify opportunities to add value and drive repeat business.
• Arranging surveys and appointments for our Kitchen Sales Designers.
• Promoting products, offers and events to keep customers engaged.
• Supporting administration, including invoicing and general depot tasks.
• Working closely with the wider team to help the depot hit its targets and deliver great service.
